COVID-19 POLICY

Measures I have taken to minimise the risk of transmission before, during and after sessions.

For each other’s protection I am following the Association of Reflexologists (AOR) Good Practice Guidelines and Government Guidance.
Here is an explanation of the new working arrangements. If you have an appointment or are wishing to make an appointment, please read the following information and let me know if you have any questions/concerns:

As a client, I kindly ask if you would:

Respond to a text I will send you the day/evening before your appointment to ask if you have any symptoms of COVID 19 and once again when you arrive or I when I visit you, to ensure nothing has changed.

Do not attend/please advise me if you are showing symptoms of Covid 19, please let me know and we can reschedule.

Wear a face covering unless exempt

Pay contactless (as preference), I shall provide my bank account details or I can take cash payment.

Attend on your own (except for children)

Arrive on time, I do not have a waiting area.

Wash your hands or use hand sanitizer on arrival and before leaving.


Additional measures to reduce risk of transmission

If you arrive late, your appointment time may have to be reduced or rescheduled. I need time in between clients for my strict cleaning
routine.

I shall keep my distance as much as possible from you when entering, leaving the premises.

I shall have a plastic box for you to place your personal items in during treatment which will be sanitised after each client.

I will be wearing a mask and other PPE for both our protection.

I wear dedicated clothing.

Fresh chair coverings will be used and changed after each client.

Fresh linen and towels will be used for each client.

Wipeable chairs and foot rests will be cleaned with antiviral spray/wipes after each use.

The room will be ventilated in between clients.

Toilet facilities, all surfaces, sinks, taps and door handles cleaned with antiviral spray or wipes after each client leaves. All surfaces
that may have been touched will be thoroughly cleaned after each client.

Hand washing facilities available with pump action handwash and paper towels.

I shall check myself for symptoms daily and if I show any I will not work and will have to reschedule at short notice.

I am fully vaccinated for Covid-19.

I shall take a Lateral Flow Test if I feel unwell.

For Mobile Visits - in addition to the above;

Hand washing –You may be asked to make provision for me to wash my hands before and after treatments or I may use hand
sanitiser

Cleaning – all equipment or materials (such as towels, coverings, sanitisers, footstool etc will have been fully cleaned before they are
brought into your home. Linen will be taken away in a separate bag.

You
you may be asked to provide a pillow but if I bring one this will be wipeable.

Waste will be taken away and disposed of.


Cancellations

I would appreciate it if you cancel your appointment as soon as you feel unwell, develop any symptoms such as; a high temperature, a continuous cough, a loss or change to your sense of smell or taste and I will be happy to reschedule your appointment.
I will have to reschedule your appointment if:

You have tested positive for COVID 19

You are presenting symptoms of COVID 19

Anyone in your household is presenting symptoms of COVID 19.
THERE WILL BE NO CHARGE TO RESCHEDULE
